Editorial Policy
How we write and maintain content on TypingTest.now.
Our Goal
TypingTest.now publishes content to help people improve their typing speed and accuracy. Our articles, guides, and glossary entries are written to be genuinely useful — not to pad page count or rank for keywords without providing value.
Content Standards
- Accuracy: We verify factual claims before publishing. Typing speed statistics reference published research or large-scale data from reputable typing platforms.
- Clarity: We write for people with varying backgrounds. Technical concepts like net WPM and gross vs net WPM are explained in plain language with examples.
- No fluff: We aim for concise, useful content without filler paragraphs, excessive disclaimers, or vague advice.
Updates and Corrections
We update articles when information becomes outdated or inaccurate. If you spot a factual error in any guide, FAQ answer, or glossary entry, use the contact form and we'll review it promptly. Corrections are noted in the article when they change a material claim. You can also report an issue directly.
Blog Content
Blog posts cover typing technique, keyboard science, ergonomics, and productivity. Posts reflect the research and experience available at the time of writing. Comments from readers and expert feedback are incorporated over time.
Advertising and Sponsorship
TypingTest.now is currently ad-free. If that changes, sponsored content will be clearly labeled. Our editorial decisions are not influenced by commercial relationships.
